Appellant Wolfe, on April 6, 1966, sustained severe injuries to his right arm and right leg when a large tree fell upon him pinning him to another tree. He was taken to a hospital in Baxley, Georgia, where Dr. E. J. Virusky, the defendant-appellee in this action, administered treatment for a compound comminuted fracture in Wolfe's right forearm and for a deep laceration and contusion in the right leg.
