This appeal arises from an unfair competition suit brought by American Republic Insurance Company ("American"), against Union Fidelity Life Insurance Company ("Union") and fourteen individual defendants. The action was dismissed before trial as to all but two of the individuals (LeRoy C. Lindgren and Robert Anderson). Separate trials on liability and damages resulted in an award to American of $10,037.00 general damages, $20,000.00...
