Plaintiffs, Pierce, et al, were the owners of a commercial building which was rented to the defendant, Roland Associates. The building was damaged by fire and plaintiffs brought suit to recover the damage done to their building. Trial was to a jury and upon findings invoking the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur, judgment was rendered for plaintiffs' damage as found by the jury. Defendant made no objections to the court's charge but contends upon appeal...
