This is an appeal from a conviction for robbery by assault. Trial was before a jury, which set the punishment at imprisonment for life, a prior conviction being alleged in the indictment for enhancement under Article 62, Vernon's Ann.P.C.

Appellant contends the enhancement statute was not applicable in that the indictment alleged a prior offense of "burglary" and to bring appellant...
