Appellant was found guilty of assault with intent to kill. When the prosecuting witness completed her direct examination she was asked if she had made a statement to police officers and she answered in the affirmative. Thereupon counsel for appellant asked that the prosecuting attorney furnish appellant's counsel with a copy of the statement.
