Robert Lachman appeals a judgment of conviction for felony drunk driving. (Veh. Code, § 23101.)

Shortly after midnight on 25 December 1969 Lachman was drag racing in a 1969 Road Runner at 75 to 95 miles per hour on Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades.
