The Union, Local 4, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO, brought this action under § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 185,1 to require Radio Thirteen-Eighty, Inc. (Radio, Inc.) to arbitrate its asserted right to terminate the employment of engineers represented by the Union. Radio, Inc. had dismissed the engineers, and then declined, despite the Union...
