Leonard H. Garrett applied for Social Security disability benefits under 42 U. S.C. §§ 416(i), 423, on May 7, 1970, claiming that he had been unable to work since November 7, 1969. The claim was denied on August 17, 1970, and on reconsideration, the original denial was affirmed. On December 14, 1970, Garrett filed a request for hearing, which was held on February 11, 1971.
