This is an action of tort for loss of consortium and for criminal conversation. The defendant's exceptions were sustained by this court after jury verdicts for the plaintiff in the amount of $45,000. Kaye v. Newhall, 356 Mass. 300. Upon retrial the jury returned verdicts for the plaintiff in the amount of $2,500, and the case is now before us on the plaintiff...
