Mr. JUSTICE McNAMARA delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant was charged with murder and aggravated battery. The trial court, sitting without a jury, found him guilty of both charges. Defendant was sentenced to 18 to 40 years for murder and 8 to 10 years for aggravated battery, the sentences to run concurrently. On appeal, defendant urges that the evidence produced at trial was insufficient to sustain the convictions for the crimes...
