In May, 1969, Knox filed a voluntary petition in Bankruptcy. The District Court adjudged Knox bankrupt and appointed Lines as trustee. As the trustee, Lines was required, by Bankruptcy Gen. Order 17,1 to prepare a complete inventory of Knox's property and to report to the court which assets were exempt and thus set off to the bankrupt. In making this report, on June 23, 1969, Lines disallowed Knox's claim for a homestead...
