Petitioner Richard Anthony Sanita sought a writ of mandamus in the trial court, to prevent the City of Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners from revoking his permits for cafe entertainment and a poolroom at his nightclub, the "Classic Cat." The writ was denied, and he appeals.
