The appellant, Owen Lambert, was found guilty by a jury of Counts 1 and 2 of a three-count indictment charging him with violating 18 U.S.C. § 659 by unlawfully, willfully and knowingly receiving stolen chattels which had been stolen from interstate commerce. In particular, the defendant was found guilty of knowingly receiving stolen Haggar slacks on August 26, 1969, and knowingly receiving stolen...
