SCHWAB, Chief Judge.

The defendant was convicted of sale and possession of dangerous drugs. ORS 475.100. The question on appeal is whether the trial court erred in refusing to grant a request for the exclusion of witnesses as authorized by ORS 45.510.

When the case was called for trial, defense counsel requested all witnesses be excluded. During the brief discussion that followed, the prosecutor stated that most of his witnesses were police officers. Counsel...
