OPINION

OMAN, Justice.

This cause is before us on appeals from an order fixing the custody of two minor children and from an order denying a motion to extend the time within which to file the transcript with this court as required by Supreme Court Rule 14 [§ 21-2-1(14), N.M.S.A. 1953 (Repl.Vol. 4, 1970)]. We reverse both orders.
