This case stems from an automobile collision at the intersection of Choctaw and North Foster Drives in the City of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on May 14, 1970. The plaintiff Central National Insurance Company of Omaha was subrogated to the rights of its insured Danny Pino, owner of one of the colliding automobiles.
