Provost and his wife entered into a written agreement (May 21, 1964) under which Mrs. Malvina Pawlowski and her son Joseph were to sell for $4,500 to the Provosts real estate (the locus), owned by the Pawlowskis as joint tenants and not as tenants in common. Under the agreement beginning July 1, 1964, the Provosts were to pay Mrs. Pawlowski $50 a month until the Provosts could obtain a mortgage when "payments...
