The defendant was jointly indicted with one Carl Foster for burglary on the 12th of November, 1969. He entered a plea of not guilty and was tried before a jury on February 25, 1970, and found guilty of burglary. The defendant did not offer any evidence at the trial. Hearing in aggravation and mitigation was held on April 6, 1970, and the defendant was sentenced to 5-15 years in the Illinois...
