Plaintiff, Landry J. Ducote, d/b/a Pan American Construction Company, filed this suit against the defendant, Louis J. Lanza, endeavoring to recover the unpaid balance due on two carpentry contracts. Defendant filed an answer in which he urged the affirmative defense of set-off.
