The respondent is charged with unlawful possession of regulated drug, cannabis sativa (marijuana), on November 20, 1969, at Salisbury, Vermont, in violation of 18 V.S.A. § 4224(a). On arraignment respondent entered a plea of not guilty. Bail was fixed and furnished. Subsequently, the respondent filed various motions which the court denied after hearing.
