LaVallee, Warden, 389 U.S. 40, 88 S.Ct. 194, 19 L.Ed.2d 41 (1967) where the Supreme Court of the United States held in a case coming to it from New York, that the State was compelled to furnish an indigent with a free copy of such transcript.
