This case was transferred from the Supreme Court pursuant to statute.

The parties are before us in the positions they held in the trial court. The Wallaces were divorced in 1965. In 1968, Mrs. Wallace sought judgment for alimony arrearages. During the course of those proceedings, Mr. Wallace moved to modify his alimony obligations. Ultimately the trial court entered judgment for all accrued arrearages...
