JONES, Justice.

Jim Johnson and Maurice Sanford, two young Negro males 19 and 17 years of age respectively, were convicted of first degree rape in the St. Francis County Circuit Court and were sentenced to life imprisonment. Through an attorney, other than the one who represented them at the trial, they appeal to this court in forma pauperis.
