Mr. JUSTICE JONES delivered the opinion of the court:

Defendant appeals his conviction after a jury trial of the crime of attempted robbery.

The complaining witness testified that he had worked as a carpenter at a tavern in Carbondale until sometime between 8:30 and 9:00 P.M. on the day of the alleged incident. Afterward he sat down and had a couple of drinks at a table where others were seated but none of their names were remembered...
