CROCKETT, Justice:

Plaintiff brought this action against Lake Motors, seller, and Ford Motor Company, manufacturer, for damages to his Mercury automobile which was ruined by a fire which originated under the dashboard. The plaintiff based his case on the theories of breach of warranty and of negligence. At the conclusion of plaintiff's evidence, the trial court granted motions for directed verdict in favor of both defendants and discharged the jury. He rejected defendants...
