After a bench trial, defendant was found guilty of the charges of attempt robbery and aggravated battery. He was sentenced to a term of 2 to 6 years for attempt robbery, and 2 to 5 years for aggravated battery, the sentences to run concurrently. On appeal defendant contends that he was erroneously denied the right to examine a police report and use it on cross-examination...
