On July 29, 1971, a special grand jury for the District of Maryland indicted the defendants in the above-captioned cases, charging that they had engaged in a continuing combination and conspiracy in unreasonable restraint of interstate trade and commerce in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act (15 U.S.C. Section 1). Defendants thereafter filed numerous motions seeking to have the indictments dismissed...
