ODOM, Judge.

This appeal is from a conviction for the offense of rape. The punishment was assessed by a jury at life.

The record reflects that on August 12, 1970, at approximately 12:30 A.M., the appellant approached two high school girls as they were driving away from an apartment house driveway. The girls were in a small foreign car and had their windows open. Appellant ran up to the window of the car, placed a knife at the driver's throat...
