Defendant appeals as of right from his conviction by a jury of entry without breaking with intent to commit larceny therein, MCLA § 750.111 (Stat Ann 1970 Cum Supp § 28.306).

The sole issue on appeal arises from the following exchange which occurred just before the trial was to begin:

"The Court: Bring in the jury.

"The Defendant: Your Honor, can I say something...
