DYER, Circuit Judge:

Jimmy Nevels was killed when the Mustang automobile in which he was a passenger went off the road and was demolished. Jimmy's mother, Mrs. Lois B. Nevels, claiming that the accident and her son's death was caused by a defective steering mechanism installed in the automobile by the Ford Motor Company, recovered judgment against Ford for the value of the life of her unmarried son.
