In 1961 the appellants, Harry T. and Elizabeth Anne Lackey, entered into a joint venture or partnership with the appellee Robert E. Bullard, and Raymond J. Knoll, to purchase some thirty-five acres of land in Montgomery County. Harry Lackey was a builder and developer, Bullard a lawyer, and Knoll an engineer.
