The defendant and a codefendant were convicted by a jury of armed robbery, MCLA § 750.529 (Stat Ann 1970 Cum Supp § 28.797). The defendant was sentenced to a term of 40 to 60 years in prison.

The sole issue on appeal is whether the warrantless search of the premises in which the defendant was found and arrested was a violation of the defendant's constitutional right to be free of unreasonable...
