Defendant was convicted of armed robbery, MCLA § 750.529 (Stat Ann 1971 Cum Supp § 28.797), at a jury trial held in July 1970. The conviction stems from the alleged robbery of a gas station. A 16-year-old boy, alone at the station, testified against the defendant. Two police officers testified that defendant refused to make any statements while in custody; the defendant contends that such testimony...
