Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant Joseph Johnson was convicted of burglary (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 19-1) and possession of burglary tools (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 19-2). He was sentenced to imprisonment for concurrent terms of 10 to 25 years and one to two years respectively. The judgment was affirmed by the appellate...
