The purported renunciation of the will of James M. Hackworth by his widow was adjudged to be void and of no effect because the purported renunciation was not acknowledged as required by statute. The appellant's claim for "a forced share" in the estate of her deceased husband and her claim for damages for fraud against the executrix, the attorney and the surety company for the estate was dismissed.
