SWINFORD, District Judge.

On November 27, 1970, the petitioner, Marvin White, petitioned this court for a writ of habeas corpus. It was the petitioner's contention that the Commonwealth of Kentucky had denied him his Sixth Amendment right to a speedy trial by reason of its failure to try him on an indictment of conversion of a motor vehicle. The petitioner was at that time and is presently serving a sentence of imprisonment in the State of Texas...
