OPINION

BONEY, Chief Justice.

The appellant, Michael Tarnef, appeals from a conviction of both the possession and sale of heroin in violation of AS 17.10.010.1 Tarnef raises four specifications of error a denial of his right to a speedy trial; a failure to grant a judgment of acquittal; a refusal to declare a mistrial; and an abuse of discretion in imposing sentence.
