This case was tried to the court without a jury. The defendant Hambek has appealed from the judgment and demanded a trial de novo in this court.

The four plaintiffs seek damages from the defendant Hambek for personal injuries which each of them sustained when the automobile in which they were riding struck a curb and lamppost on a bridge, as a result of the automobile being pushed by another automobile...
