ONION, Presiding Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for assault with intent to murder with malice aforethought. The punishment, assessed by the jury, was 25 years.

The grounds of error relate to the court's charge, the appointment of an interpreter, and the court's refusal to restrict the State's right to impeach appellant by use of a prior felony conviction in the event the appellant took the stand at the guilt stage of the bifurcated...
