The appellant in this motor tort case, while endeavoring to pass the appellee's vehicle, ran off the road onto the shoulder and upon attempting to re-enter the roadbed, collided with the side of the appellee's vehicle, causing her injury. The trial judge granted appellee's motion for a directed verdict on the issue of liability and permitted the jury to decide only the question of damages. The jury returned a verdict...
