The defendant shot and killed Willie Lofton and was indicted for murder in the first degree. He was tried by a jury which returned a verdict of guilty of murder in the second degree. The defendant appeals from the judgment rendered on the verdict, assigning as error the denial of his motion to set aside the verdict on the ground that it was contrary to the law and the evidence, and the denial of his motion...
