This case, in which the plaintiff originally sought conveyance to him of certain stock but now asks only damages, is before us for the second time. After the first trial, in May, 1967, the trial judge entered a final decree on July 13, 1967, denying specific performance "as a matter of discretion" and awarding damages in the amount of $5,400.
