In March of 1964 defendants-appellants, James R. Hoffa, Thomas Ewing Parks, Larry Campbell and Ewing King, were convicted for endeavoring to influence, impede and intimidate jurors in the discharge of their duties. (18 U.S. C. § 1503 — The Federal Obstruction of Justice Statute).
