GREEN, J.

Defendant, Gwendolyn Lewis, a/k/a Donna Green, charged with second-degree murder, was tried and convicted by a jury of manslaughter. She appeals.

On August 9, 1969, defendant and Curtis D. Bryant were together in a room on the second floor of the Montana Hotel in Yakima. Bryant secured the room so that he and defendant could engage in an act of prostitution. While in the room, Bryant began pulling defendant's hair. She protested.
