This case apparently lends credence to that Shakespearian adage "Neither a borrower nor a lender be ...."1 The appellants, Ernest and Anne Cook together with others borrowed $35,000 from the appellee, Alexandria National Bank but then failed to tender repayment. For that reason this suit was initiated. It began in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County...
