This action arose from a rear-end automobile collision which occurred in Wichita, Kansas. The collision was caused by a brake failure. Plaintiff, Juanita Langley, recovered a jury verdict for $16,000 against the defendant, Byron Stout Pontiac, Inc., because of defendant's negligence in repairing the brakes of the offending vehicle.
