The plaintiffs, Harold Burnett and his wife, were injured as the result of an explosion caused by an allegedly defective gas oven in a used camper trailer which the plaintiffs had purchased from the defendant. The cause of action was submitted to the jury on the theories of defendant's negligence, plaintiff's contributory negligence, and the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose based on RCW 62A.2-315.
