Appellant Shvanda, a fireman employed by the Baltimore City Fire Department, sustained an accidental personal injury in the course of his employment on July 20, 1967. A decision of the Workmen's Compensation Commission finding that appellant was not a "workman for wages" within the meaning of Maryland Code, Article 101, Section 33 and thus not entitled to compensation was upheld by Judge Solomon Liss in a non-jury...
