This is a proceeding for post-conviction relief. La.C.Cr.P. Arts. 351-70. The petitioner attacks his 1970 plea of guilty as invalid under Boykin v. Alabama, 395 U.S. 238, 89 S.Ct. 1709, 23 L.Ed.2d 274 (1969).

As a result of this 1970 plea to a simple robbery charge, he was sentenced to five years in the state penitentiary. Also, by reason of this plea, his parole from certain sentences imposed in 1965 was revoked...
