This is a personal injury suit originally brought in the court below by Louis Joseph Savoy on behalf of his minor son Sidney Dean Savoy who sustained injuries during the opening of a highway bridge span under the control of the Louisiana Department of Highways, the only defendant. Plaintiff brings this suit by authority of a Legislative resolution whereby the defendant has consented to be sued and waived...
